Great series again. My only nits are first 2 are little bit too tight crops and reds are too saturated for my taste.
Well thats just me but I still really like the series :D

Excellent Mark, that 8th shot the player resembles Detroits' Zetterberg!! Great series.

Question -- In photos 7,9, how do you know what 'level' is for the crop?

When I have shots like that, I just do it by feel........ Curious if a pro has another way of knowing, not guessing.......

excellent pictures,
i love how colourful the jerseys are compared to the boring nhl ones ( i know i know, most people like the simpler designs, but I guess coming from competitive roller hockey, all my teams jerseys are colourful like the european designs with sponsors)

Its taken a while to get to know the game, which IMHO is key to getting good sport shots...

Question -- In photos 7,9, how do you know what 'level' is for the crop?

When I have shots like that, I just do it by feel........ Curious if a pro has another way of knowing, not guessing.......

Great question, no simple answer....I try and find an upright ( Advertising boards, Glass and so on ) and use that. If however it doesnt look right, I tweek it...

I know only the european uniforms, hopefully I will get a chance to shoot some NHL...
