Dave Graney is TISM without the techno. His lyrics are as hard hitting as any TISM track, yet somehow he escapes the heckling from mainstream media that seems to follow TISM. With song titles like "You Had To Be Drunk" (about growing up in his home town Mt Gambier) and a non-stop Ben Lee sledging in between numbers, the man can entertain, perform and can certainly tell a ripping yarn.
The Lurid Yellow Mist is his latest outfit, go see them if you get the chance. If not for his music, to see a full grown man wear ripples as if it were still 1992.
