5 seconds after this it all went off...that is to say they tried to re arrange each others features. The driver pulled away from the lights and I lost the action shot. Damn cab drivers, no sense of timing.

Good catch. If you were in a cab I assume you weren't just looking for pictures. Looks great in B&W and framed by the window. But it is the start of a story that should be completed. By someone.

Your right, I wasn't really prepared. I'd been to a friends and was going home (camera in hand as usual). Luckily I've developed this habit of setting the camera up for the conditions, whether I'm using it or not. I'll occasionally put it to my eye and take readings from shop fronts etc. Then when I do need it I'm only ever a couple of stops either side.
As we drove off they started rolling around on the floor, so if the driver had been a bit slower I'd have been able to finish the story for you.
