Amateur Photographer, a UK weekly magazine has just run two pages of images which they claim were taken using a 30D mark11.
As the owner of a 30D I am surprised that I managed to miss the introduction of the mk11. Perhaps the global recession has forced Canon to reintroduce yesterdays technology? If so we can look forward to Nikon bring out the FE MK5d or maybe the Nikkormat mk12D?
Even Kodak could get a look in when they offer us the Box BrownieD.

What page? I can't find any mention of it

Don't know the page, I always read it in our local library.
Before this is taken too seriously, I am aware that it must be a printing or editing error. Presumably its a 30D, not a 5D2 or even a 1D2, because the 30D is mentioned in the text that accompanies the images.

No, it's no error - it's the megapixel race doing the turn-around.
I knew it would happen one day.

i believe there was a different version of the 20d, for astral photography, could that 30d mk11 be a 20d mk11?

What canon did with the 20Da can be done with other cameras at home.

Must be a misprint, but I ate my words in the 500D thread so who knows. Those canon marketers can be weird people.
