A few days ago I took some photos of a few geckos in our collection. I'm happy enough with them that I thought I would share them here as well. Any C&C is definitely welcome since I'm still learning with this new camera and my editting techniques.

Crius - adult male R. ciliatus (never very photogenic, so I'm glad I got a few good ones of him)

I know there are still a few issues with these (lighting still needs to be perfected as well as Depth of Field...plus other things) , but the practice is really paying off I think.

Those are some funky looking critters you have there! I really like the look of the third pic, but I think it needs a little more depth of field, at least to get that nose in focus. I'm really digging the last one too. Great series!

Like the third shot the most. I like the low and close up compositions more. I'd stop down on the aperture a touch more for a bigger depth of field so we can see more of the gecko.

Thanks for the comments. I have been practicing with different apertures recently, so hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon.
