My second time shooting a girl's highschool game, this time for my younger brother's school. The more c/c the better, I'm always looking for ways to improve.

Thanks! I really want to go and clone everything out of the background in the last shot, I got lazy and added a heavy vignette to try and hide it lol.

Nice shots! Try and get a little more of the eyes to show for the runner in the last pic - where she is watching will help tell the story of the moment. The colors are great - especially in the catcher photo. I like the timing on the swing - can you get a little more of the front view - say watching her eyes watch the ball? I know - I keep mentioning the eys, but I am starting to sell my school sports photos, and the photos with good eyes sell the best - by far!

+1

Last one is underexposed at least 1/2 stop.

Thanks guys! Appreciate all the suggestions. The last one wasn't really underexposed, I just darkened it a bit too much in post I think. And I thought the same thing when I put it on the computer, "damnit I can't see the eyes," but when I enlarged it to full size I noticed she was wearing dark sunglasses lol. Can't fix that!

Of course then it's not longer a photo, but a fine piece of art!! lol.

I agree eyes eyes eyes, good timing on the 3rd photo ,if I can't get eyes I try to get some other kind of identifying feature of the subject.(for parent sales)
