It's a compact flash one right?

Yup.
Probably the best value for money, taking into account size, speed, and reputation is the Sandisk Extreme III 8GB.

Ditto, the Compact Flash card is correct memory-card for that Canon DSLR model. There are many good manufacture brands out there as you will see. It appears that the majority leans toward SanDisk. Take advantage of the current memory-card rebates currently going on.

try adorama. they usually have about the best prices and the rebate info is attached to the ad -- very convenient.

I've had all kinds of memory cards. Anything that is 80x speed or beyond is worth getting. As for brand, I see no difference in the speed or performance of the Sandisk 133x and the much cheaper Dane-Elec 133x or Tanscend 120x that I own. But, hey I shop at Wal Mart so what do I know?

You can find the "rebate-deals" at either www.bhphotovideo.com or www.adorama.com. Both are very reputable and highly regarded.

If you are buying Sandisk cards, I would recommend you buy from a reputable dealer. There are many fake Sandisk cards out there. I would stay away from ebay sellers.
