My wife has recently bought a EOS 30 with a Canon 28-105 USM II lens.
Just in the last couple of days it has refused to autofocus,
although it will still take photos in manual mode.
I have looked through the manual, to see if it may have resulted
from "finger trouble", but can't find an obvious solution.
Compounding this, when I use the function button to access the
settings on the righthand side of the LCD panel, I can only get it
to toggle between redeye reduction and beeper, it won't scroll to
ISO or any of the other functions.
I have checked the obvious, ie AF/MF switch position etc, but to no
avail.
Any suggestions???
