I'm still a novice, but this is a photo I took at the fire department last fall. Please C&C.

Taken with Canon 350D and kit lens. I know (now) that I should have bumped the ISO more.

I'm not sure I understand, why bump up the iso? Anyway, interesting perspective in the shot, works well. Slightly overexposed i'd say, and i'd fix the barrelling. But like I said, works well.

Bumped the ISO more? AFAIK the lower the ISO the better (or you must have a 50D or a 1Ds mk2.)

Would have taken the picture more to the centre, find the positioning a little strange now.

Bump up the ISO because it was shot at 1/13th of a second.

The shot seems pretty sharp so I don't see a problem with the 1/13. Well done on the steady hand. :D

Well thanks for that, now if only I had such a steady hand for the other shots ;)

Do you have anymore to share?

From the same day no, as most of the other shots had too much camera shake in them.
