I had a chance to snap a few pics of a few nice firearms. I wish I would have had a lightbox ... but o'well.

Thanks for looking.

Well, nice gear. But that commercial Colt just doesn't look right with the military gear.
Here's my USGI A1

The pics are definitely cool, i'd just adjust the WB, its all so soft and yellow. The 4th shot is closer to that 'cold steel' look that i think firearm shots should have.

Good luck with that one!! The one in my photo came from an old friend that carried it while he was in the Army. Obviously a long time ago back when you could "acquire" your side arm without making a detour to the brig.
I have another one that took me 3 or 4 years and $1200.00 to talk the guy out of it. It was his fathers that he carried as an MP in Germany after WWII. He remembers as a kid, his Dad taking it out of the box for the first time as it came for base supply, and testing it out in the vacant lot next to his house back in 1945 or '46. He also gave me a Browning vest pocket .25 his Dad took off a prostitute in Germany. It's in bad shape though. Oh, I also got his helmet he wore too. Hmmm, sounds like a good photo project if he would ever get me the belt and holster he could not find at the time.

This is my kind of thread. I really like the first one, I own a Wilson Combat Sentinel myself - great pics and great guns.
