Hi,

I hope somebody can explain me what I'm doing wrong.

When I'm using my D60 with my (older) Vivitar flash the shutterspeed is always between 1/10 and 1/60. I find this very strange.
When I look at my raw files (in the EXIF Data) it states that the flash was OFF???

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something? Is it better to upgrade to a SPEEDLIGHT flash? Any other (beter) type. And what's the difference between the 220, 420, 480 and the 550 or a link where I can find the difference.

Best wishes, merry X-mas and a happy 2003

Which Vivitar flash are you using? Is it the 283? If so, make sure you have a unit with a trigger voltage

Tnx Krimble.

I'll check it out, but I guess I just have to buy a new flash.

Now I'm just figuring out wich one ;-)
