I lke the expression on his face, I know the background could have been better. This was more of me messing around than actually setting up the shot. Tell what you think, is there anything I could have done better? I had the camera on auto mode (green box) and i really don't know the time value and f stop or iso.

are you using the on camera flash? if so try buying a ping pong ball slicing off about 1/3 of it and slide it over the flash. works as a great cheap bounce/difusion for the pop up. i like it a lot for shot like this.
