I just ordered a 40d yesterday (still haven't recieved it), but my dad has a nikon sb-20 speedlight which he doesn't use anymore. I want to learn to do off camera flash, is it possible to use this flash and the canon for OCF shots? Also I don't have the flash infront of me so I'm not sure if it has a PC sync or not...does anyone know? If so what would I need to make this work just a PC sync cable?
thanks in advance

Looks like it has a sync port on it, i'd download the manual they have on that page to make sure. Even if it dosn't a hotshoe adaptor should do the trick and it'll give you a good start for off camera work.

Great! Then I guess I'll head over to my parents house tomorrow and pick up the flash.

That's one quirky looking flash unit!
Enjoy the OCF experience.
