I just stumbled over MacMall's great deal on the batterypack, and just thought I'd share it:

Price is $159, so I guess I'm getting an extra present from Santa, since I didn't get my wish, the 100-400L IS. Santa must be on a budget.

Decent price. That's what I paid for mine. Just remember that it comes with no batteries...If you didn't already know that.

Good tip for those new to buying these cameras ( I do have batteries, however) - that would have been a nasty shock. I have been looking and only found them for around $199, so this was a nice saving.
