Actually went out and shot today for the first time in months. Felt great. Now I'm going to share way too many shots with you all.

Any comments or critiques? I'd rather everyone told me my work was garbage than get no comments at all! ;)

All very dramatic. At least the ones from outside the building.
Weird picking up and shooting again in a long time eh? I went through the same thing. Watch your horizon lines. They are all crooked at least some amount.

Nice shots, I like most all of them.

Thanks for the comments guys. I see what you're saying about the horizon lines, but I was erring on the side of keeping the building lines straight--which of course they're not :D

I like #7 in the first set but would crop the power poles on the left. #8 is nice. I also like #5 in the second set, but I wonder what it'd look like cropped a bit tighter to take out the corner of the building and make it symmetrical?
Cheers.

I would try to make more specific comments, but there are way, way, way too many photos.

nicely done...it'll be good once it warms up here to get out and shoot things again.

I think you've got some great scenery to use for a photo shoot. Grab some subjects and go for it!

Thanks :) I tried tighter crops in both cases, but neither looked quite right. For the second one, it's just because the lines of the building are so messed up that nothing's really parallel--which, from a distance, is fine, but when you go closer in it becomes really distracting. And in order to get rid of the building corner, I would have to go pretty close in to maintain the symmetry of those vents.

I guess I need to learn to take my time and actually cull my shots down to the maximum of 8 allowed by forum rules huh? :D

Some nice shots. But for some of the door shots, I think it would have been better if you shot strait at the door. A little more PP would probably give it that oldd feeling ya know? Either way these are some nice shots.
