Hi all,

First post, though I have lurked for a month or so now. I am not a pro photographer or even an amateur one I'm a painter who is looking for a good source for uninhibited fairly professional models who can pose for reference shots.

Some things I am wondering about are the following:

What are some good websites that cater to artists models in particular? I've seen MM and OMP mentioned on here frequently but I am curious about sites that are used predominantly by art models.

What is an average hourly wage to pay an artist model?

What type of release should I have my models sign so that I have full rights over what I do with the photos (for example, post them online to share as reference in an online art community, etc.) And how much does the granting of full rights to the photos raise the model's fee?

Also, is it good etiquette to provide light refreshments for them? How about blankets, robes, heaters, etc.

And lastly, because I prefer not to have strangers coming to my home, I am hunting around for a possible studio space I can rent by the hour. I'm curious whether or not this is an arrangement some of you also follow, and if so, what's a reasonable hourly rate for studio rent?
Thanks bunches

Because you have a descriptive title, you can look at the "Similar Threads" links at the bottom-left of this page!
Each link you visit should provide more links at the bottom.

Okay, so that took care of the "what to pay" question (thank you), but what about the rest? In particular, are there any notable sites for art models (not just girls who'd like to be fashion or catalog models)?

This is just a guess on my part but I think the model's agent could answer your questions. Or ask around at a photo school, they might know.
