I really like the mood & lighting in these shots. Either one would look good printed on canvas. It's a good portrait of your dog. I typically don't care for chairs as part of a portrait... but in this case, I think it looks great.

If the artist Whistler were to paint the RCA dog("His master's voice"), he might get something like what you shot today. (don't know if you're old enough to know about the RCA dog).
