hi folks. i have some long grey material to try out for a "fashion-esque" shot.

but it has a tonne of wrinkles which i tried to iron out. it still shows all the mini wrinkles. even when i open up the aperture for thinner DOF.

do i just need longer material to get some more distance from the background? theres no other way around that? or am i wasting time and i should just get a roll of grey paper?

Besides the approaches you mentioned, the only other alternative is Photoshop.

I vote for grey paper. I realy dont like fabric backdrops anymore.

it appears even Zack uses rolls of paper.
