First soccer game of the season

Had the first girls soccer of the season yesterday. It was the season opener for both teams. Both teams also wore special jerseys as it was billed a "Go Pink" game to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and had some fundraisers sponsored by the LeRoy Butler (former GB Packer) Foundation.

I'd just like to mention again that I don't do any PP until an image is sold, so these have only been cropped and sharpened in Lightroom. And I know some of the highlights are blown in a few, but also had some wicked shadows happening too! Shot these all with my 100-400 mm.

4. This gal had just "taken one for the team" by cleverly having her head get in the way of the ball just kicked by the opponent

I know this one is not a good sports picture per se, but I just happened to get it and the gal in the pink jersey landed funny and needed to be helped off the field
