Hi,
I am looking for a photo album creating software which can do stuff like show exif data, images in different size, frames, watermark etc. I.e. something like what pbase offers. I have plenty of web space available so it makes sense just to get a domain name & create my own pages rather than get a pbase or alikes account.
I could find some softwares which create webpages but not all the features I mentioned.
Please let me know if you know a good s/w.
Cheers :-)

this might work for you.
i am in the process of getting my host to set me up with it.
it is called coppermine.
http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/
another hobby i have is car audio. and the admin at one forum is using it as it integrates with his forum.
i am not sure what www.photozo.com forums use though. i know it can do the exif info.

EE is the best online photo album and was created (and wonderfully supported) by our very own Pekka Saarinen :D
Here is my "On Line" album using EE. http://www.ambrosiabbs.com/gallery

Your choices are:
- Exhibit Engine (from Pekka here)
- Coppermine (.sourceforge.net)
- Gallery (.sourceforge.net)
I've downloaded all and i'm going to evaluate them against my needs on the weekend. I'm also going to look at Mambo, a content management system, and i'll integrate the two.

check out jalbum
very simple, and there's a load of layouts you can use with different options.

JAlbum's great, it's what I use right now, but it's quite different from pbase. You create a bunch of web pages and resized images on your hard drive, then upload static pages to your server. With the 3 I listed above you upload your photos and the server handles almost everything.
