Hi guys.....I'm looking for some examples of airshow stuff taken with a 300 f4L. If anyone has anything I can take a look at it'd be much appreciated. I do some airshow stuff throughout the summer months, and am looking at picking up some new glass and the 300 f4L is much more useful to me the rest of the year instead of a 100-400.
With and without a TC would be appreciated if anyone has anything....

If you're still on the fence, this was my solution.

Thanks for the advice....I have had the 300f4L thread subscribed for a while now but there just isn't enough samples of airshow photography in there. I was just hoping for some more insight from some users who have experience with that lens specifically and airshow/aerial photography.
I was thinking about the 400 f5.6 but think I may miss the IS...

Not sure about airshow pics but I used a 300mm recently at a UK airbase. The quality is amazing but the difficulty is being in the right spot to get a full frame.
Sometimes you are just too close for full frame ( of aircraft)
Good luck

I used to use the 100-400 for just that reason, but the logic behind switching to the prime is that I will have either the 24-105 or 70-200 2.8 IS on one body and the 300mm with or without the 1.4 TC on the other
