hey guys,

i really do apologies if this question was asked before but i'm in a really hurry and i need an answer asap. i do have an outdoor photoshoot, and i do want to take some light. unfortunately i have just my flash gun. how can i trigger from the distance the flash gun if is not on my camera?

i do have a canon 40d and a flashgun 430ex.

A Canon ST-E2 wireless transmitter would work, but pricey, over $200.

cheapest way will be cactus (or similar) wireless triggers

thanks guys. i do have also a transmitter and a receiver. i tried, but i guess i do something wrong. it works with my studio lights....

the only thing i can connect is the transmitter to the camera. that's it.

hot shoe to PC, then PC to hotshoe, PC cord
