FS (NYC/US): Alienware Area-51 M15X

I got this laptop in the summer of 2008. It was shipped out from the Alienware facility on 06/09/08 according to the papers --all of which, by the way, are included along with the box and everything else that came with it. This laptop has been babied (as I do with everything I own) and hasn't seen much daylight. It was always kept at home as my portable powerhouse PC. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this Alienware. I would say the shape it's in is 10 out of 10! Okay, maybe not. Maybe 9.9 out of 10, but you get the idea. I am selling it because I have other laptops and computers that do fine for me. I'm an IT guy so I don't think I will ever run out of computers here at home either. But I'm selling it because I need extra money to fund my hobby (photography). I have a long list in my B&H cart :oops: that I don't feel should be paid for with my income because that money is also for my wife and baby. ;)

This laptop was something my mom bought me because she gave my MacBook to my sister, who is away for college, thinking I would be okay with it... GRRR! (First of all, what kind of sister comes back for one summer and hoards her brother's things then disappears again...?) Anyway, this Alienware was customized for me so you will see a small plate that says "Built For Sean Ong" (that's me) at the bottom. That's removable if you feel more comfortable owning a laptop that doesn't look like you stole it. The papers will say Sylvia Gonzalez (my mom).

Feel free to ask anything about this gorgeous laptop. I know everything about it and I will answer all related questions.I paid $1,732.92 for it and the papers will confirm this. I will only accept PayPal and please no trades unless it's something totally in my favor and photography-related.

Hello all,

I posted a thread some time ago looking to sell my Alienware Area51 m15x laptop (here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=669456)) for $1,000 shipped and PP'd anywhere in the continental US. Since there weren't many takers (I know times are hard) and the main reason for me selling was to buy gear in the first place, I thought I'd offer it for trade as well.

Here's my want list. Feel free to combine different gear from the list. In other words, whatever you're willing to trade in combination with other gear listed below and/or cash with total value adding up to $1,000 +/- is acceptable. I'm also open to other gear not listed below but only if the trade is in my favor. In a case like that, I would probably just resell the gear so I can get what I need.
