Hello everyone.
This is a 100% Crop from a shot I took yesterday.Perhaps someone can tell me what has caused the strange pixelated effect on some of the veins on the leaf? I have never noticed this before and although it is barely noticeable on a A4 print it still annoys Me. It was taken in Raw(20D) and converted in Photoshop CS with +40 Sharpening. Even with the default +25 sharpening it was still very apparent.
Thanks, Peter.

You stated that you shot it RAW and converted it.

Converted it to what? TIF, JPEG, etc.? At what size? That may be different from what you show us here.

If you're asking about the "zig-zag" effect on some of the slightly angled veins, that's because of mapping a rectangular grid to a diagonal line. You're just peeking in too close and seeing the "grain". It's more obvious at slight angles than at greater ones. But it's just the pixels.
