Very nice! The lighting setup worked for you.

Thanks Jethro....ive made these diffusers for each flash coz when i was taking shots in an indoor skatepark the light on the skaters face was too harsh.
The diffusers/softbox definitely is toning it down even at like 1/2 power flash output.
I wanna know what equipment i need to use for the how strobist scene.

You need triggers to get both flashes off camera.
Did you sharpen these, or is it just compression?

Yea slight sharpen and unsharp mask.
I was actually wanting to do exactly that....but i dont have another one of those Flash foots to mount it to a tripod. Only have my one i got with my 430exII.
What type of angle should i look at doing when shooting skaters....one on either side of me type of thing

Oh man I miss the neighborhood mini ramp.
Back up,
Angles are fine but your in there so tight...
You dont need the cost of ex's for off camera stuff.

For a test run they look very good. Yes triggers would probably help but its always going to be $$$$$$$$ in photography
