Byron Bay blues festival nearly all taken with this combo sometimes I could get down to ISO 800...I am very pleased with the results noise wise..shot in raw and have all gone through rawshooter essentials which is an excellent free bit of software...taojones

They are very good photos. Whilst I'm not a fan of REM, I quite like your B&W photos of Michael Stipe, especially the one on the last page.

Quite envious on all counts. Wish I had a 20D and hadn't been stuck in Sydney :p

Great photos! It's helping sway me towards the F4 instead of the Sigma 70-200 F2.8... kinda.

Great work, thanks for sharing it.

The 70-200/4L is great in combination with all of the current EOS DSLR cameras.

I think having the 2.8 option would be better...I have since upgraded to the canon f2.8..taojones

hi wal I was in the photographers pit for most shots which is one of the shots on the first lot of thumbnails...some shot from a distance away. I found the lens worked really well and ISO 1600 was fine. They were shot in M mode at 1/200 of a sec at f4 I couldn't push it anymore...I just remembered I also used a 85mm 1.8 on a few shots which was also really good thanks
