Spent a good day in North Wales on the weekend with Chris, bit of a mixed bag weather wise with every conceivable form of precipitation making an appearance but the Historics made it all worthwhile. The other events were a bit of a damp squib after them and I lost interest very quickly - if it wasn't for Chris' enthusiasm I'd have left alot sooner than I did!

Start off with a couple from Junction 3 on Aberhirnant early on to show how bad the conditions were:

#4 - Bit undecided about this one so I'll let you lot be the judges!

Rest are taken around Junction 4 on Dyfi:

Well,if I could shoot as well as these Rhodders,I would have a huge smile on my face permantly:D

1 is a corker ,great sharpness, colours and contrast and superb action in the rain .

Wicked shots. 1-3 nice low angle shots in fairly hard rain. Fun to see pics like these but its not that much fun to shoot in rain :D
I like how you framed the Amazon shot. Nice S shape road but it lacks speed IMO. Otherwise brilliant shot.
Escort shot from above works for me. Its different in a good way. Something you dont see too often. Good job

1 is beautiful and 6 is nice for a change in angle from the norm. the weather looked rough, and you made great shots reguardless. You would be well fit for the irish weather anytime :-)

nice stuff.

A nice set Rhodders, loving 6!

I'm the submariner that you met up in Dyfi. We seem to of taken our shots of the last Escort at the same time, just from opposite sides of the road

Cheers mate, as I know I wasn't too happy with my shots throughout the day so I was pleasantly surprised with how a few of them turned out. Not my best day by any means though.

Thanks Semmonka, I wanted to try something a little different with the Amazon shot so happy it's been well received.

Thanks Rory, after watching the coverage of Rally Ireland on TV I don't think I'd cope with that! Luckily the poor weather didn't last too long and the afternoon was quite pleasant.

A nice set Rhodders, loving 6!

Was great to meet you Neil and very interesting to listen about your line of work. You're a braver man than I!

Thanks for the comments all,

Rhod.
