I'm just curious, as I hadn't attended a wedding in almost 9 years now. Do you photogs, do you purposely wear black as to blend in with your cameras, to make you look less obvious that you have this gear on (multiple cameras etc), or does that not matter to you?
This is a subject I haven't seen, so I hope you don't mind the question.
Thanks.......

I wear charcoal grey or navy blue dress pants and a blue or striped button down shirt.

I don't. I like to think that my wedding shoots are a little different; fashion-focused, a little artsy, etc. I want to communicate the same thing to my clients and their guests through my dress and all black doesn't do it. My typically blue jacket frequently comes off because I'm moving too fast and working too hard. I have a nice tailored shirt and either blue or green pants.

I agree that all black is not very fashionable. It's not consistent with the image I'm trying to portray.

When there's a videographer I wear all black, and I wear it on days that aren't too hot - a tailored black shirt and dark suit pants. On really hot days I wear a white short sleeved shirt otherwise I get too hot.

Yeah, I don't wear all black, either. I wear black flowy dress pants and then a solid colored button down dress shirt to go with the weather/venue/theme as best I can. I try to blend in as a guest more then I try to blend in with my camera.

I like the all black attire. At times (depending on mood and event) I will go with khaki pants and a either a silver or black pinstriped shirt. In warmer weather i go with short sleeve white, silver or grey. Blending is important to me, and being able to disappear into the shadows if need be is also something I like to be able to do as well. I also go with a comfy classy shoe, nothing worse that 8+ hours in shoes that kill your feet, and you wont know until its too late.
