A friend of mine is an up and coming wedding photographer and she asked me to shoot alongside her this weekend. This was my first "non-guest photographer" wedding shoot. I shot with my 5D, 430EX, 50 1.8, 85 1.8, 70-200 2.8IS, and 17-40L. Here are some of my favorite images:

good stuff here. I like the interaction between subject and photog.
#2 - the guy is out of focus..... could go either way - good/distracting.
... for me a little distracting... but good composition.

It will be cool to see full wedding.

Thanks for sharing.

That elevator dress shot is scary I bet ... you're in major trouble if you lose it.

Thanks for the comments! I'd post some from the ceremony but they weren't that great (beach wedding plus 35mph winds = crazy).

Got another wedding coming up on the 10th... stay tuned.

In the first shoot it would have been nice if you would have taken a baby step right to capture the full reflection in the glass. Remember that reflections add layers of interest. The elevator shot was creative! Good luck on the 10th!

did you mean for #2 for the guy being blurry?

Nice camera for being first Non guest Photographer.

Great start though.
