Angels that is...

Got to spend some time on base at NAS El Centro. Mainly went to shoot some F-18 squadrons and was treated to a couple Blue Angels practice sessions!

Oh yeah... Headphones and earplugs. The landings wern't too bad but the afterburning takeoffs..........

#3 Rocks! What a great capture. I've not seen many of the Blues with that angle before.

Yeah thats pretty close. I like that it gives an entirely different look than we normally see.

Even with both eyes open I miss a bunch... I feel a little better! :D

Great shots. How do you get so close? I would have thought the only way to do that would be to sign up for a tour or two.

How close? Close enough to get a wave from the air crew. EPIC!
