Turbojacket

Okay so here goes. I am not even sure if I am posting this in the right place or not. Had an opportunity to shoot the same scene with the 400D, the newer 50D, and the 5D mark 1 I guess is what we are calling it now. After being an amateur photographer I decided to buy my first full frame. The 5D was attractive because I picked it up used for a steal being used and all. $1395 off ebay with grip. I thought that wasn't bad... Here are my first shots of noise comparison. I would like feedback on what you guys think of the 50D. It seems to produce quite a bit of noise, but the details really kick. The 400D just cannot seem to bring out the details of the veins in the lamp shade. The 5D was hard to recreate exactly because it doesn't crop the image. I am really happy about that now. Never knew what I was missing. One thing about the 50D though is that with the same settings and lens as the 5D and the XTi, it seemed to find focus MUCH faster in low light. Maybe it is because it is newer and Canon has really improved that. I don't know, just something that I noticed and thought it was worth pointing out.
