Ok you might remember me asking if Do lens die? (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=66449) But checking out my Camera now, the lens seems to work perfectly fine, so do lens fix themselves?
Have you ever had a lens that seemed broken one day and the next day nothing was wrong with it? Cause my lens works perfectly fine now which now leaves me scratching my head as to why it wouldn't work just a few days ago.

Hmmm, so you have a lens that plays sick some days, but then works perfectly other days?
Infact you believe it may have repaired itself? As if it were self aware?
I think you need CDS to anwser a question like that..........

i dont think it can fix itself, it prolly was sick one day due to human error :p Would be nice to have a invincible lens though

Electronics can often work intermittently. Your lens has alot of electronics. Your lens has to communicate with your camera. If the connection is intermittent because of dirty contacts or a cracked connection it will work some of the time. Check your contacts for being dirty, broken or loose. Make sure that the lens fits snugly on the camera.

LOL I dont think it can actually self fix. I just thought it was ammusing (and more FRUSTRATING) that one day, it seems to work and the next it doesn't.
