Contemplating if I like it or not...and If I do, if I like it best in Color or Black and white... any thoughts?
sun was a killer that day. I didnt go out with sole purpose of shooting. Just enjoying the day with my DD.

I like the B&W best, it draws you right into her. Very sweet pix.

Well, this wouldn't be the first time I'm called contrary, but I like the color one best. It's true the B&W focuses more on the child, which is probably the point for you. But the color shot has a magical quality about it that I think draws the viewer more into what the child is doing. The ground looks so interesting it makes me want to poke at it too.

I also like the color better. If I had only seen the b/w one it would be difficult for me to tell she is in the sand.

I can see where the last two poster's are coming from, but I have to go with the B & W... True, it is not as easily apparent that she is playing at a beach, but the focus of the shot is more on her and the rest becomes less distracting. The colour does make for a more interesting surface that she is playing on, but ultimately I believe it takes away from your daughter... Which do you like?
