My 1st Photo up for C&C

This was so two seasons ago, but better late than never right? :lol: This was taken for my digital photography class last semester and I thought I'd see what others think. Please be honest.

Nice colors and comp. Looks a bit soft but that's probably just from the internet>jpeg compression.

It kinda catches my eye. I feel it could use maybe a little contrast boost and some sharpening. Maybe even lower the saturation on everything but the green leaf.

But I like the composition. It almost looks like a symbol for rebirth.

looks kind of cool! simple, but cool. I have a similar shot with a piece of
drift wood and a small flower in the archives from a couple years back!

I did realize it could be a lot sharper right after I posted. The reason why it's not as sharp is probably from the blur of using a 1/30 sec shutter speed with no tripod.

I guess I could try to boost the contrast even more and maybe play with the saturation a little bit.

More C&C welcomed. :)
