I looked over a year ago and tried searches on here recently but to no avail. I want to shoot an event and sell my image files online. The buyer can make their own prints. Last time I looked no company offered that. Seems simple enough. Purchase, download and go to their own local printer. Who offers this?

Thanks

You can also do this with Smugmug. If you want 50% off use the discount coupon flickr and for a further $5.00 off use 3MDk82MhINcPg as well.

www.Exposuremanager.com offers this as well for a $0.75 fee per download.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am looking closely at either smugmug or exposure manager. Self fulfilment is something I want also and it looks like Exposure manager is better for that. I would like to see a sample site using exposure manager to see what the layout and interface looks like. There web site does not link to examples like smugmug does. Anyone have one I can check out?

Here's mine, but I have done nothing with it other than use the default setting and upload my shots. It is customizable, and others have done nice things with it. You won't get the options that you have with Smugmug for customization, but I'm finding that simple can be best for sales stuff.

I much prefer it to smugmug for event sales, for a variety of reasons. I do prefer smugmug for my personal hosting though.

He needs to clean up that youth site, and yes I talked in the 3rd person :) Doing that this weekend (EDIT: I just did a lot to it but not close to done so some stuff is still just there for now)

Photo Cart (http://www.picturespro.com)

+1 for Photo Cart. I use it and love it. Integrates into you website really well so it doesn't have that cookie cutter setup, and looks more professional than using an online hosting site. The system is very flexible as well. Those were the main reasons I went with it.

Photo Cart (picturespro.com). The new v5 is an awesome upgrade and is written for event, wedding, etc. photogs. Get good software. It's worth the investment. (You will have to host your account, tho.)

Ever considered setting up your own gallery using a web hosting package & free gallery script/software? Lots about these days, and wouldn't be too hard to take automated payment as well, could be quite profitable!
