so you painted it and changed the color of the track ball? nice job. how did you change the color of the ball?

Thanks, I ordered the housing from ebay and the track ball from cnn.cn they have a good 8 colors i think

I found a free program that will let you change the trackball color. it works very well.

Screen was cracked so i needed to replace it, so why go with the same tired OEM color, i know people around here love color as do I so decided on my favorite

were you able to change the housing and trackball yourself? I want to change the housing on mine, but I'm afraid I'll mess it up.

it works only on Pearl not on the Curve!!! - just read the first comments on the website you gave a link to...

why? because Pearl has 4 different color LED under the trackball, where Curve and any other BB has only 1 - white LED...
