...hi there, going around a friends farm tomorrow to take pics of their week old lambs :)
rather than just taking a pic of them, any pointers/advice for other types of pics i could do with them?

Lambs are like children, if they are outside they love to leave their Mums for a little while and play! A dozen or so will have an area they'll use as a racetrack. Sometimes there may be a tree stump which they love to climb on and even push each other off!
Lamb shots are great, but if you are a little patient and don't crowd them you'll get some nice gentle action shots.
I see you posted your question a day ago, so this advice is a little late, but next time give it a try. Good luck.

As long as we're on that, I'd suggest going up real close for a wide angle. I'm not sure why, but I find these shots work really good with domestic animals.
