I recemtly sold the following lenses:all Canon

300 2.8L IS
24-105L
100 2.8 Macro
135L
200 2.8L II

I was just not using these much since I have so much overlap with other lenses I'm very pleased with. I also have a new 5DMK2 on the way with another 24-105.

I have still:
85 1.2L II
35L
15 2.8 Fisheye
70-200 F/4 IS
24-70L
100-400L
Sigma 50 1.4
All copies are very sharp and focus correctly. My question is : I am considering the 70-200 2.8IS , keeping the F/4 ( so sharp I'll never give it up) and the new 14 2.8L II. do you folkls use the 70-200 during the ceremony? and is the 14L too wide for even creative uses?

Your 35L will be good for the reception and some formals. The 85L for bridal portraits.
For the ceremony you really need 70-200 2.8 and 24-70. Anything f/4 will not work for indoor weddings.
Your 14L will be fine for creative work-- but don't over use it too much-- I would use it for getting ready photos and creative shots.

I use my 70-200 f2.8 for the ceremony so that I am not in the way, in esence not even there. It is a great lens when you don't want to be intrusive for E sessions as well.

I use my Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 all the time. I love it. The only reason I'd switch over to the L series would be to obtain IS. Great lens to have while shooting weddings.

70-200 is a must for me. Have you considered a 16-35 over the 14? Not as wide but will give you alot more versatility than just the 14.

I use the 70-200 f/2.8 at every single wedding for every single ceremony.

When using the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens do you still use some sort of flash indoors or just raise the iso to get enough light in??

Nope. I crank up the ISO and shoot in natural light.
