Does anyone know if there is a problem with the Digital Rebel in that the pictures are much darker then what you see in the viewer and LCD screen when downloaded to computer? Have to set the AE to at least a Plus One to compensate. Bill

Don't use the LCD to judge exposure. Press INFO during playback and watch your histogram............always!!!

Ignore the LCD image, learn to use the histogram, it will give you far more information on the exposure of your image. Once you get into the habit of looking at the histogram you won't even bother looking at the images on the LCD anymore.
Having said this, if you really want to preview the images in camera, if you turn down the brightness on the LCD the image will be closer to how it will look on the PC.
Hope this helps!
