Where's the light when you need it!? I had to take this at ISO 1600, 1/160, f/5.6 wide open, 390mm, hand held. I was actually stuttering, as I was directing the camera so much upwards and the camera was straining my neck...

Wow. 1/160 at 390mm on a 1.6 crop camera, and you got that sharpness? That speaks volumes for the IS. I WANT ONE!!!

We-el... of course the image is resized and sharpened, so you're not seeing the whole truth there. The lens should be very sharp in it's class, but there may be some sample variation. I'm feeling that my lens may be a little on the soft side, I'm probably going to get it looked at / fixed.
