hi, dont mean to sound thick , if a 20d at iso 100 needs f5.6 and 250th sec for the correct exposure will the 1ds mark 1 need the same or do different cameras need more light, hope i havent made this too confusing, Jerry

Under the same lighting conditions, any two cameras will need the same exposure settings, so yes.

It might sound a daft question, but having worked in a camera shop for a short while I've heard a whole lot worse. One person thought if you took the lens of an SLR you would fog the film, and part of the course she was on covered photography! along with grapgic desgin and printing.
