I want to practice my landscape photography - especially since I'm getting a wide angle lens within the next few weeks. However, I don't know of many great places, especially living in Fort Myers. I don't mind driving so if anybody has any tips, please let me know.
Thank you!

A wide angle in Ft Myers--I'd be over to the Edison museum and try to get some interesting angles of the giant banyan. Corkscrew swamp park down by Naples has some nice vistas. Up the coast to Cedar Key can be worthwhile--best if you can bring or rent a kayak for that area. But if you get tired of sea coast and sawgrass or springs and cityscapes, it's a day drive to the start of the Appalachian mountains in Georgia.

Thanks for the tip!
I'm actually going to Georgia for a week in July so I'm excited to get some shots there!
Thanks again!

Google "Georgia Waterfalls". There are a lot of them, most very photogenic.
As for FL, I've lived here on and off for more than 50 years, and I shoot very few landscapes. Some at the beach, sunsets, interesting towns, etc. Mostly, when I'm in FL I shoot birds. Ding Darling on Sanibel is one of the best places.
