Board... Shot my foot!

Well i was board and a wicked snow storm was outside. So i was sitting there with my feet kick up trying out a new lens and shot my foot. I dunno if it is just me or what. But when i am board with my camera in hand, sitting there, i always end up taking a shot of my feet. Is this normal? or do other people do this? I didn't know my socks could look so good.

So is it me or do others end up using there feet as a test subject at one point?

I shoot my feet all the time. They aren't pretty though.
