WIDE ANGLE LENS NEEDED

hey all i have been wanting to get a wide angle, because the kit lens on the 300d isn't so hot, and my rebel 10qd can't use it. so what is a good wide angle for the money. i want to get a minimum of at least 15mm. i have a 28-105mm and isn't cutting it for the ultra wide. so let me know what i should get for a good wide angle. i am also going to go out west in a few months and need a good wide angle for those. i am mainly doing landscapes with it, obviously.

Right now the only super wide that will work with both your ff and aps-c camera is the sigma 12-24 and its listed for $709 at B+H. $659 at adorama.
