very cute. only 1 problem. its i pretty badly focused, the focus landed on his shirt sleeve, but i love teh intention :)

Hey Smitty,

Thanks for the comments, and that was intended believe it or not. He looked so peaceful that I wanted to soften it up to make the capture look a bit sleepy. I hope it worked after your consideration of my intent.

I think that would work if you get quite a bit closer. It would tighten the composition and shallow up you DOF.

oh well if you were going for the blurred look then you need to make the number on his arm blurry, that way my eye doesnt focus on that. if you ever notice when you are looking at something close, the stuff far away is blurry and vice versa. in pictures i think we naturally look for the in focus stuff as the centerpoint and then everything revolves around that. I still think that a clsoe shot witha very narrow DOF would be best here. For some reason i am not really into supersoft focus, slightly soft yes, supersoft, no. Like i said before I love the picture otherwise. keep em coming. :)
