17-85 lens hood photos

an odd request i guess, but can someone post photos of the 17-85 lens with a hood on. if you dont mind, can you also take a photo of the lens zoomed to 85mm with the hood on?

Yup, it sure is. At least it better be. It for me was hard to find. I ended up going to a camera store in Newport Beach to pick it up. B&H was sold out when I bought my camera.

Cals Camera-Great Store, pretty big. Its off the 55. Right passed Nike Town about a block or two or three.

I agree, I was quite disappointed when I bought mine as well. I haven't picked one up yet, almost because I feel like they owe me one :cry: .

Someone aught to write Canon a persuasive essay, in which the main argument is that it is mandatory that any lens over 350 dollars comes complete with a lens hood.
