I wouldn't normally post a feeder image, but I kind of like this one ... and I can't get this fellow to land on a branch for more than a blink of the eye ...

Beautiful!

I saw my first one (ever) last week. I took several pics, and I think he turned at least 180 degrees between each one.

Yeah, he was gone in an instant ... this is one of the "twitchier" birds I've seen around the house ... nervous sort.

If you spread a little peanut butter on a tree trunk or branch, that can help because they will stay there for a few moments to eat it. It's best to use natural peanut butter since the birds don't need all the preservatives in your typical jar of Jif.
