He said he used a polarizing filter... that may be it.

1. I'd love this shot if there weren't any people in the background. They just seem to kinda ruin it.

2. Neat idea, just once again not liking the people.

3. Can't see the image.

4. Liking this. His face would be nice but overall not bad.

5. Nice, but the weird guy sitting there is kinda odd.

6. Nice.

7. Not liking the vignette.

Your filter is certainly doing its job :)

Great wide angle shots.

I'm a fan of clean images like #3. I think that shot was well executed. The others aren't bad, but the background is a bit distracting. If you can somehow position yourself to get that background cleaner, you'll be golden.

#2 is creative, but it would have benefited from a more interesting foreground.

As a set, I would have liked to see more faces. In a few of the shots, the body language makes up for the lack of an expression, but seeing the face couldn't hurt.

Good job. I'm looking forward to seeing more images from you.

Loving #3. It's clean and colourful. Not that I don't like the others but the isolation of the subject matter makes it my favourite.

#3 is the best. I tried something like #2 a few weeks ago:

3 and 6 are hot. keep your backgrounds clean and the subject visible, and i think you've got it.

Saw these on SP. I'm digging the framed-in-the-sky back disaster but that's about it, the others are just meh.
