A bit too central and square on. the fence behind it is distracting - half a step to the left and you'd have covered the most distracting end part of it, but I suspect a more downwards angle from in closer and higher up with a super wide lens, bringing the mountains in at the top third of the image, would work better. A 24mm lens on a 50D might not be wide enough to do that quite how I imagine it though. Cheers, Tony

Yeah, the fence is a real problem. The composition is otherwise OK, but I wonder (as tonydee did) what other angle could have made it more dynamic. At least the the lighting is great!

Really nice shot. I would recommend avoiding the fence if you try the shot again. Of course you could always patch the fence out but that is cheating somewhat and may compromise quality.
