Thought I would have a play with the colour temperatures on some RAW shots I took the other day:

Both taken with nifty 50mm 1.8 :) I am not really happy with the composition of these as I wasn't really trying and the wind was blowing the flowers around quite a bit. I'll have to go back and get properly composed versions now I know I like the effect. What do you think?

Wild. Could you go into a little bit more detail. Did you do selective temp adj.? Just looks so crazy.

I really like these photos.
Slightly off topic. I'm doing something not with Colour Temperature but with Flash Colour at the moment. I've got some filters (some I made myself) that fit over my flash head to colour the light. I've got some wierd looking photos that I'll need to pop on here.
Sorry,
Back on topic...

Thanks for the all the great comments.
I shot the photos in Auto White Balance and then in RawShooter Essentials I just moved the temperature all the way down to cold. Then made a couple of slight adjustments to saturation, brightness etc.. and it was done :)

I love the second one from an artistic point of view. (I can't comment on the technical aspects cause I'm too much of a beginner!) The colors are awesome and the blurred background flowers make the one in focus seem mysterious somehow. I love the way the one in focus is lit.
